Volunteers provide important services to hospice organizations and the people they serve. Whether it's providing companionship to a patient, offering support to family members and caregivers, or helping with community outreach and fundraising, the contributions of volunteers are essential. It is important to us that we are involved in senior communities, so we regularly facilitate activities in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.
As a hospice volunteer you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do. Volunteers can do administrative work in our office, or go out in the community. We do activities in assisted living communities and nursing homes on a regular basis and volunteers are always welcome to join!
